The copyright block allows you to display a copyright date and text on your page (most likely in the footer). And you won’t have to worry about updating the date every year.
Settings/Attributes
- This block uses all of the spacing (margin/padding/block spacing), colors, borders and typography settings.
- Attributes
- Copyright type – Whether to show both the copyright icon and text or just the icon or just the text.
- Copyright text – What the text for “Copyright” should be.
How to use this block
While you can use this block anywhere on a template, it’s highly recommended that you use this in the footer. You’ll need to navigate to the site editor and select your footer template part. Then place the copyright block wherever you want in the footer.
