The Crosswinds Framework comes with three different query loop patterns. One is a grid of posts three across. The other is a simple list of posts with the post’s featured image above the rest of the content. And the last is another list of posts with the post’s featured image to the right of the rest of the content.

If you’re using the query loop patterns to create a dedicated blog page, you’ll need to make sure that the “Inherit query from template” option is unchecked.

You can replace any query loop with another pattern by selecting the query loop block and hitting “replace”. Then select the pattern that you want to use.

Archive Pages

You can use these patterns to customize the archive templates for your website. Just select the query loop block in the archive template you’re editing and then select “ replace”. Then select the pattern that you want to use. This time, however, you’ll want to make sure that the “Inherit query from template” option is checked.
