  3. How to Customize the Header with the Crosswinds Framework

The Crosswinds Framework comes with eight different header combinations. There are headers with a centered menu along with a site title or site logo, and there are headers with the menu on the right and the site title or site logo on the left. And each one comes with either a top bar with social media links or no top bar.

Switching between these headers is pretty simple.

First, navigate to the site editor. Click the WordPress logo in the top left and select template parts. Then select the header template part. Then select the top-level group block and remove that block.

In the block inserter, click on “Patterns” and select “Headers” in the dropdown. Then select the header you want for your website. Once it’s in there, you can customize it further until you’re ready to publish it.

You can also edit the menus with the theme or select all new menus to show in its/their place.
